Wireless Electronic Shifting
Enters the TT Era

WHEELTOP unveils its first dedicated TT electronic shifting system at Taipei Cycle 2026 — bringing wireless precision to time trial and triathlon racing.

WHEELTOP EDS-TX-TT7110 — unveiled at Taipei International Cycle Show 2026.

Founded in 1951, WHEELTOP (Lanxi Linfeng Bicycle Components Co., Ltd.) has spent decades building deep expertise across the full spectrum of bicycle drivetrain systems — from research and development to manufacturing and global sales. Backed by consistent quality, mature processes, and accumulated technical capability, WHEELTOP has long positioned itself as a global brand committed to delivering intelligent, high-value cycling components.

In 2024, WHEELTOP reached a landmark partnership with Spanish component brand ROTOR, becoming ROTOR's official Asia-region distributor. Founded in 1994, ROTOR built its reputation on the Q-Rings oval chainring system launched in 2005, and has since expanded into cranks, cockpit components, and high-end power meters.

WHEELTOP officially becomes ROTOR's Asia-region distributor in 2024.

"Cycling has fully entered the electronic shifting era. WHEELTOP will continue to invest in electronic drivetrain R&D, aiming to take a leading position and open a new chapter in electronic shifting."

The New TT System

Building on its Electronic Drivetrain Systems (EDS) lineup, WHEELTOP debuted the EDS-TX-TT7110 at Taipei Cycle 2026 — a wireless electronic shifting system designed specifically for time trial and triathlon bikes.

The system features a multi-position control layout with shift paddles at both the aero bar extensions and the drop-bar section, offering six fully configurable buttons. Riders can customize shifting logic through the dedicated App. The extension bar shifter mounts via an expansion bolt and automatically enters pairing mode on power-up. The integrated brake-shift lever at the drop bar features an adjustable grip width of 70–100mm for long-duration comfort.

Materials & Integration

WHEELTOP has incorporated extensive carbon fiber throughout the EDS-TX-TT7110 to reduce weight. On the drop-bar lever, only the hydraulic components use aluminum alloy; the rest is primarily carbon fiber, with carbon overwrap applied to critical aluminum areas for a balance of strength and weight.

A key advantage of the system is its seamless compatibility with the existing EDS-TX road derailleur range. Riders do not need to replace their entire drivetrain — simply upgrading the levers is sufficient to complete the transition to a TT setup, significantly lowering upgrade and maintenance costs. The system also supports ANT+ communication, enabling real-time display of battery level and gear position on compatible cycling computers.

EDS-TX-TT7110 paired with EDS-TX road derailleurs — a complete wireless electronic drivetrain for TT racing.
