Safety instructions and installation note

Before installation, you must read and understand the safety instructions supplied with the product. Improper installation of components is extremely dangerous and may cause severe or even fatal injury. If you have any doubts about component installation, consult a professional bicycle mechanic.

Note

This manual is a complete system installation guide, covering the entire process from unboxing each component to starting your ride. Follow the sequence outlined in this manual to complete installation and setup step by step. Only proceed to the next step after completing the previous one. Please refer to the official website for this product's sales regions; responsibility lies with the seller if sold in unlicensed areas.

FCC operation requirements and compliance statement

Operational Requirements: (1) This device must not cause harmful interference. (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may result in undesirable operation. Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.

FCC Compliance: This device has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device under Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. The device generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy; if not installed and used according to the instructions, it may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in specific installations. If harmful interference occurs, users can try the following remedies: adjust the direction of the receiving antenna; increase the distance between the device and the receiver; connect the equipment to a different circuit than the receiver; or consult the dealer or an experienced technician for help.

This device complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set for an uncontrolled environment. Maintain a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body during operation and installation.

Charging

Charging the Front/Rear Derailleur

  1. Open the dust cover and connect the magnetic connector of the charging cable.
  2. The charging indicator light turns red and charging begins.
  3. When the charging indicator light goes out, charging is completed. Remove the magnetic connector of the charging cable.

LED indicator: Red = Charging. Off (extinguished) = Charging complete.

Charging Precautions

Charging precautions list
  1. Ensure the USB port's DC connector provides 5.0Vdc voltage and a current below 2Adc.
  2. If the battery is not fully charged after 6 hours, stop charging.
  3. Ensure hands or gloves are dry while handling the charging process.
  4. Do not use the product while charging. If the battery temperature exceeds 50°C, stop charging immediately and contact customer support.
  5. When replacing the battery, use specialized tools to remove screws.
  6. Do not use unauthorized third-party batteries (especially for the rear derailleur), as this may cause the system to malfunction.

System Pairing

Shifter & Brake Lever Cable Connection

Before pairing, connect each shifter to its matching brake lever:

  1. Ready a pair of brake levers and a pair of shifters.
  2. Align the cable on the brake lever with the cable interface of the shifter in the same direction and insert it.
  3. Press the brake lever and check whether the shifter's indicator light flashes. If it flashes, the connection is successful.

Pairing Sequence

Pair the rear derailleur with the front derailleur and the left/right thumb shifters, in sequence.

Enter pairing mode: open the dust cover of the rear derailleur, connect the magnetic connector of the powered charging cable to the rear derailleur's magnetic interface. Unplug the magnetic connector, and the indicator light will blink blue, entering pairing mode.

Front Derailleur Pairing

Open the dust cover of the front derailleur, connect the magnetic connector of the powered charging cable to the front derailleur's magnetic interface. Unplug the magnetic connector, and the indicator light will blink blue, entering pairing mode. After successful pairing with the rear derailleur, the indicator lights of both the rear and front derailleurs will light up green for 1 second. Then, the rear derailleur's blue indicator light will continue to blink.

Shifter Pairing

Use a PH1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the battery compartment cover. Press and hold any shift button, insert the battery, and keep holding until the shifter's indicator light flashes blue, indicating it has entered pairing mode. After successfully pairing with the rear derailleur, the indicators on both the rear derailleur and the shifter will light up green for 1 second. Then the shifter's indicator will continue to flash blue. Repeat these steps to pair the remaining shifters.

If the blue light does not flash, repeat this step. If pairing is not performed within 10 seconds of entering pairing mode, the device will automatically exit pairing mode.

Exit Pairing

After pairing the front derailleur, left and right shifters, and rear derailleur in sequence, the device indicator flashes blue three times and then turns off, exiting "Pairing Mode."

After pairing is completed, test the buttons on the paired device to verify the gear-shifting function works properly. If any abnormality occurs, try re-establishing the pairing connection.

Pairing Precautions

System pairing precautions list
  1. The transmission device is in a shutdown state during transportation. After unboxing, plug in the magnetic connector to wake up the device. To shut down the device, use the app.
  2. Before unboxing, the derailleur kit has already been paired; re-pairing is not necessary.
  3. During pairing, do not obstruct the derailleur with metal, liquid, or other items that may affect wireless communication, otherwise normal operation may be affected.
  4. If an incorrect operation occurs during pairing, repeat the pairing operation.
  5. If any parts are replaced, added, or removed, only the rear derailleur and the changed part need to be re-paired. If the rear derailleur itself is replaced, all accessories need to be re-paired.
  6. To improve the pairing success rate, the pairing sequence must be strictly followed according to the user manual.
  7. If there are multiple transmissions nearby, pair them one by one and do not operate other transmissions during this period.
  8. The default state of the transmission device is Leisure Mode. To switch to Competitive Mode, switch it in the app.

Installation

Gear System Installation — Shifter & Brake Lever Cable Installation

Install the brake lever provisionally on the brake lever mounting position of the aerobar. Use a cable routing tool to guide the cable to the position of the rest handle button, then insert the cable into the shifter's cable interface.

Connect the shifter and brake lever cables correctly according to the "Shifter & Brake Lever Cable Connection" procedure above.

Shifter & Brake Lever Installation

Shifter: lift the shifter dust cover (I), use a 3mm hex wrench to loosen the shifter hanger (M), insert the shifter into the aerobar position, then tighten the shifter mounting screw (J). After installation, close the shifter dust cover (I). Max torque 4 N·m.

Brake lever: lift the brake lever dust cover (H), use a 4mm hex wrench to loosen the brake lever hanger (R), insert the brake lever into position, then tighten the brake lever mounting screw (O). After installation, close the brake lever dust cover (H). Max torque 8 N·m.

Front Derailleur Installation

Use a 2mm hex wrench to adjust the front derailleur's support screw (I) so the front derailleur is parallel to the frame. Turn the support screw clockwise and the front derailleur tilts toward the frame. Turn it counterclockwise and the front derailleur moves away from the frame.

Rear Derailleur Installation

Use a 5mm hex wrench to mount the derailleur onto the frame's hanger (torque 8.0–10.0 N·m). Select an appropriate chain and thread it alternately through the derailleur's two pulleys.

The optimal derailleur performance is achieved when maintaining a 4–6mm gap between the inner flat surface of the chainstay (rear dropout side) and the outer face of the smallest cog on the cassette.

Brake System Installation — Front Caliper & Adapter

When installing a 160mm-diameter disc brake rotor on the front wheel, use the F160-02 adapter to fit the caliper for installation. When installing a 140mm-diameter disc brake rotor, use the F140-02 adapter to fit the caliper for installation.

Pay attention to the arrows and text direction printed on the adapter.

Brake System Installation — Rear Caliper & Adapter

When installing a 160mm-diameter disc brake rotor on the rear wheel, use the R160-01 adapter to fit the caliper for installation. When installing a 140mm-diameter disc brake rotor, no adapter is needed — install the caliper directly.

Pay attention to the arrows and text direction printed on the adapter.

Derailleur Calibration

Initial Position Calibration Standard: perform an initial calibration of the rear derailleur (recommended using the "Micro-Adjustment Screw Method" below), until the center of the upper guide pulley aligns with the center of the smallest cog.

Rear Derailleur Tension Calibration Standard: shift the front derailleur to the small chainring and the rear derailleur to the largest sprocket, then adjust the Rear Derailleur Tension Screw (G) until the distance between the upper guide pulley and the largest sprocket is approximately 8–10mm. (This optimal distance may vary with different cassette sizes and is provided as a reference only.)

Rear Derailleur Limit Screw Adjustment Standard: only proceed with the following after completing both Initial Position Calibration and Rear Derailleur Tension Calibration.

  1. Shift the rear derailleur to the smallest sprocket, adjust the Minimum Sprocket Limit Screw (D) until it lightly touches the limit point, then back the screw off 1/4 turn.
  2. Shift the rear derailleur to the largest sprocket, adjust the Maximum Sprocket Limit Screw (E) until it lightly touches the limit point, then back the screw off 1/4 turn.
  3. Test shifting. If it cannot shift to the lowest or highest cog, try backing the corresponding screw off another 1/4 turn.

Front Derailleur Initial Position Calibration

Adjust the front derailleur so its outer guide plate is 1–2mm away from the chain while on the largest chainring. If no chain is available for reference, set the distance between the inner guide plate and the largest chainring to 3.8–5.8mm instead.

Method A — Micro-Adjustment Screw Method (Rear Derailleur)

With the rear derailleur at the smallest sprocket, use a 2mm hex wrench to turn the initial-position fine-tuning screw (J) until the upper guide pulley's center aligns with the center of the smallest sprocket's teeth. Turning screw (J) counterclockwise moves the upper guide pulley toward the smallest sprocket; turning it clockwise moves the upper guide pulley toward the largest sprocket.

Precautions: keep pedaling continuously during adjustment, otherwise the derailleur may be damaged. Do not perform initial calibration while riding.

Method A — Micro-Adjustment Screw Method (Front Derailleur)

Turning the initial-position fine-tuning screw (C) counterclockwise moves the front derailleur toward the smaller chainring; turning it clockwise moves the front derailleur toward the larger chainring.

After adjustment, shift the front derailleur to the largest chainring and gently tighten the limit screw (D) until it makes contact with the stop surface.

Method B — App-Based Adjustment

In the app, go to Derailleur Settings → Equipment Debugging → Initial Calibration to open the debugging page.

Precautions: make sure the rear derailleur is at the smallest sprocket and the front derailleur is at the large chainring before debugging. Keep pedaling continuously, otherwise the transmission may be damaged. Do not perform initial calibration while riding. The Micro-Adjustment Screw Method above is recommended.

Front derailleur: in the "Initial Calibration — Front Derailleur" screen, use the direction buttons to adjust the initial position until the outer guide plate is 1–2mm away from the chain on the largest chainring. Pressing the left button moves the front derailleur away from the small chainring; pressing the right button moves it closer to the small chainring. In both cases, confirm that shifting is smooth and the device operates without unusual noises. After debugging, gently tighten the Front Derailleur Limit Screw (D).

Rear derailleur: in the "Initial Calibration — Rear Derailleur" screen, use the direction buttons until the center of the upper guide pulley aligns with the center of the smallest sprocket. Pressing the left button moves the rear derailleur away from the smallest sprocket; pressing the right button moves it closer. Confirm that shifting is smooth with no unusual noises. After debugging, gently tighten the Minimum Sprocket Limit Screw (D).

Method C — Handle (Shifter) Micro-Adjustment

  1. Press and hold the bottom button (B) of a shifter together with the brake lever button (C) on the same side for 5 seconds to enter "Initial Calibration Mode." The rear derailleur's indicator light will stay lit solid blue.
  2. Press the top button (D) of the right shifter to move the rear derailleur toward the larger sprocket; press the bottom button (E) of the right shifter to move it toward the smaller sprocket. Adjust until the rear derailleur's upper guide pulley aligns with the center of the smallest sprocket.

Precautions: make sure the rear derailleur is at the smallest sprocket and the front derailleur is at the large chainring before debugging. The right shifter is used to fine-tune the currently selected derailleur; the left shifter switches which derailleur (front or rear) is being calibrated. While in "Initial Calibration Mode," both brake lever buttons are disabled. The Micro-Adjustment Screw Method above is recommended for fine-tuning.

Method C — Switching the Calibration Target & Front Derailleur Adjustment

Press the bottom button (B) of the left shifter to select which derailleur is being calibrated; the selected device's indicator stays solid blue. The rear derailleur is the default device that enters "Initial Calibration" first.

Once the front derailleur is selected: press the top button (D) of the right shifter to move the front derailleur toward the large chainring; press the bottom button (E) of the right shifter to move it toward the small chainring. Position the front derailleur's outer guide plate 1–2mm from the chain on the largest chainring. If no chain is available for reference, set the distance between the outer guide plate and the largest chainring to 3.8–5.8mm.

Rear Derailleur Minimum Limit Screw Adjustment

After completing initial position calibration, switch the rear derailleur to the smallest cog and gently tighten the rear derailleur's "Minimum Sprocket Limit Screw (D)."

Once all screws above are adjusted, please recheck that everything is properly set before riding.

Derailleur Adjustment

App navigation to fine-tune gear positions

Perform gear fine-tuning only after Initial Position Calibration is complete. Do not fine-tune gear positions while riding.

In the app, go to Derailleur Settings → Equipment Debugging → Fine-Tune Gear Positions, then select the gear to adjust (for example, "2nd gear"). Adjust the value using either the +/− buttons or by tapping the value to type a new number directly.

Increasing the gear value moves the rear derailleur closer to the frame, decreasing moves it away

When the value increases, the rear derailleur moves closer to the frame. When the value decreases, it moves away from the frame. In both cases, confirm shifting is smooth with no unusual noise — after adjusting a value, switch to another gear and back again to verify the change took effect.

If shifting is still abnormal after increasing or decreasing a gear's value, try adjusting the value for both the current gear and the adjacent gear so the upper guide pulley aligns with the corresponding cog.

Final high and low limit screw adjustment after fine-tuning all gears

After fine-tuning all gears, shift the rear derailleur to the largest sprocket and gently tighten the Maximum Sprocket Limit Screw (E) until it makes contact with the stop surface. Likewise, shift the front derailleur to the large chainring and gently tighten the Front Derailleur Limit Screw (D).

Several corrections from the source PDF: (1) this button-mapping table is duplicated in the printed manual — it appears once right after the Component Overview and again, identically, under Shifting Operations; only the correctly-placed copy is used here. (2) The source's English translation labels both left-shifter buttons' functions as generic "Cyclic Gear Shift" / "Forced Gear Shift," losing the up/down distinction that's clearly present in the original Chinese text — restored above. (3) The table's "double-click" row for the brake levers is labeled "Front Clutch Cycle" (i.e. front derailleur cycle) in the source, but the manual's own dedicated instructions for double-click (below) describe it jumping the rear derailleur straight to the largest or smallest sprocket — that dedicated description is used here as the more detailed and specific of the two.

Rear Derailleur Shifting (Shifter Buttons)

Upshift: press the top button (D) of the right shifter. The derailleur upshifts, moving toward the larger sprocket. Downshift: press the bottom button (E) of the right shifter. The derailleur downshifts, moving toward the smaller sprocket. The indicator flashes once per press; long-press for continuous up/downshifting.

Front Derailleur Shifting (Shifter Buttons)

Press the top button (A) of the left shifter — the front derailleur moves toward the small chainring. Press the bottom button (B) of the left shifter — the front derailleur moves toward the large chainring. The LED flashes once with each press.

Forced shifting: if normal shifting fails in a special circumstance, press and hold the shift button — the front derailleur guide plate moves to and holds the maximum travel position while the button is held, then returns to the normal position once released.

Rear Derailleur Shifting (Brake Lever Buttons)

You can also shift gears using the buttons on the brake levers while holding the braking position. Upshift: press the shift button on the right brake lever (F) — the derailleur moves toward the larger sprocket. Downshift: press the shift button on the left brake lever (C) — the derailleur moves toward the smaller sprocket. The indicator flashes once per press; long-press for continuous up/downshifting.

Cyclic Shifting (Jump to Extreme Sprocket)

Double-click the right or left brake lever's shift button (F/C) to jump the rear derailleur directly between the largest and smallest sprocket. The LED flashes once per click.

Free Configuration of Buttons

App navigation to free button configuration

In the app, go to Derailleur Settings → Usage Preferences → Free Configuration.

Precautions: after any modifications, be sure to press the confirm button.

Selecting a button, its function, and confirming the change

First, select the button whose function you want to change, then select the function you want to assign, and finally tap the confirm button. After confirming, press the corresponding button to test whether the function works normally.

If an error occurs or changes cannot be made, try "One-Key Restore."

Gear Mirroring

In the app, go to Derailleur Settings → Usage Preferences → Gear Mirroring to select the gear display mode.

Maintenance

Shifter Battery

Shifter battery replacement and accessory replacement precautions

Use a PH1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws, take off the battery compartment cover, and remove the used battery. Install a new CR2032 battery into the compartment, then secure the cover with the PH1 screwdriver.

Accessory Replacement

If the front derailleur, rear derailleur, or a shifter is damaged individually and needs replacement, refer to the Installation section above. When replacing a shifter or the front derailleur, only the replaced component needs to be re-paired with the rear derailleur. When replacing the rear derailleur, all components need to be re-paired — see System Pairing for instructions.

  • Only CR2032 batteries can be used for the shifters.
  • It is recommended to clean the derailleurs regularly.
  • The derailleurs' operating temperature range is −10°C to 50°C.
  • The front and rear derailleur batteries are integrated, non-removable designs. Non-professionals should not disassemble them. Air transport requiring disassembly must be handled by a professional.
