Alright guys, welcome back! Today I’m super stoked to unbox and review the brand new EDS OX 2.0 wireless derailleur from WheelTop. Right out of the box, this thing looks sweet with its modern design and a sick navy blue coating that matches my bike perfectly. The best part? It’s completely wireless. That means no more annoying cables or wires running through the frame.
The installation was incredibly simple. I just had to remove my old shifter and cable, slide the new shifter onto the bars, and bolt the derailleur on. Setting it up was just as easy using the EDS app. You just scan the QR code, pair it via Bluetooth (give it a little shake to wake it up!), and you're good to go. A killer feature here is its versatility—you can configure it for anything from 3-speed all the way up to 14-speed cassettes in the settings.
I’ve been riding with the EDS OX 2.0 for about 2 to 3 weeks now, and it’s been holding up amazingly. The shifting is super smooth and reliable. One thing that really blew me away was the chain tension. On my old cable setup, the chain slap was horrible, but with this one, I haven't heard it slap once. It keeps the chain locked in place and shifts lightning-fast even under heavy pedaling pressure, where other derailleurs might catch or wobble. For an affordable price, this performs like a top-of-the-line product. We took it out to the local jumps, hitting some 30-footers, and it was absolutely "cooking." If you’re looking for a clean, high-performance wireless setup, this is definitely the way to go!
