WHEELTOP EDS GeX

A fully wireless electronic groupset engineered specifically for gravel and mixed-terrain riding. 800mAh rechargeable derailleur battery, IP67 weather sealing, 3-14 speed compatibility — purpose-built for adventure beyond the pavement. Now available in two brake versions: Hydraulic Disc or Rim Brake.

Version A

Hydraulic Disc Brake

Integrated hydraulic brake-shifter levers + RA7800 flat mount calipers. Powerful modulated stopping in all conditions. For disc brake frames (flat mount).

Version B

Rim Brake

Wireless electronic shifter paired with rim brake levers. Lighter weight setup. For rim brake frames — road, gravel, and classic builds.

Wheeltop EDS GeX rear derailleur

EDS GeX Electronic Rear Derailleur

Powered by an 800mAh built-in rechargeable battery, the GeX delivers approximately 20,000 shifts per charge — months of riding between top-ups for most gravel cyclists. The magnetic snap-on charging connector makes top-ups effortless — no exposed port, no cover to lose. The IP67-rated sealed housing keeps mud, water, and grit out at all times. Available in 75mm cage (up to 46T max cog) or 93mm cage (up to 52T max cog). Operating temperature -20°C to 60°C.

Internal Chain Damper

A precision-engineered damping system suppresses chain slap and prevents dropped chains on rough gravel, washboard roads, and mixed-terrain surfaces — keeping your drivetrain quiet and controlled when the going gets rough.

Integrated Hydraulic Brake-Shifter

The GeX shifter unifies electronic gear control and hydraulic braking in one ergonomic lever body. Shift up or down with a button press — the derailleur responds with zero cable lag. The hydraulic circuit delivers powerful, modulated stopping power running on mineral oil. Lever reach is adjustable up to 8mm. IP65 rated against water jets and dust. Available in aluminum or carbon fiber lever.

The rim brake version pairs the same EDS GeX electronic derailleur with rim brake levers — ideal for traditional road and gravel frames without disc mounts.

The rim brake version uses the identical EDS GeX rear derailleur — 800mAh battery, IP67 sealing, magnetic charging — paired with wireless rim brake levers. No hydraulic hoses, no calipers to bleed. A clean, lightweight setup that brings wireless electronic shifting to bikes that weren't built for disc brakes.

CNC-machined unibody calipers with 21mm dual ceramic pistons — consistent, powerful braking in all conditions.

The RA7800 caliper body is machined from a single aluminum block — no seams, no flex under hard braking. Twin 21mm ceramic pistons deliver excellent heat resistance and a consistent bite point across long descents. A unidirectional oil circuit ensures smooth, progressive lever feel from light modulation through to full stop. Compatible with 140mm and 160mm rotors.

Shimano Pad Compatible

Compatible with Shimano L04C, L05A, L04A, and BR-RX810 brake pads — widely available worldwide and easy to source at any bike shop.

Flat Mount. Pre-Bled. Ready to Ride.

Flat mount only — the standard on modern gravel frames. Hoses are pre-cut and pre-bled from the factory: 900mm for the front, 1,550mm for the rear. Unbox, install, ride. The mineral oil system is non-corrosive and easy to maintain at home.

1x Drivetrain Only

Designed for single-chainring setups only. Not compatible with double or triple chainring systems.

Choose the Right Cage Length

Verify your cassette max sprocket before selecting: 58mm Short Cage (SS) — up to 32T · 75mm Medium Cage (GS) — up to 42T · 93mm Long Cage (SGS) — up to 52T. Using the wrong cage causes poor shifting or chain derailment.

Disc Brake Version: Flat Mount Frames Only

The RA7800 calipers are flat mount only — not compatible with post-mount frames. Rotor must be 140mm or 160mm. If you have a rim brake frame, please select the Rim Brake version instead.

App-Based Setup Required

Initial calibration must be performed via the WHEELTOP app (free on iOS and Android) after installation.
