WHEELTOP MA2000 2-Piston Hydraulic Disc Brake — Caliper & Lever Set

A front and rear WHEELTOP hydraulic disc brake set for mountain bikes with Post Mount brake tabs: CNC-machined aluminum 2-piston calipers with ceramic pistons, matched CNC aluminum levers, running on mineral oil.

BR-MA2000 2-Piston Caliper

Two opposed pistons, one on each side of the rotor, clamp the pads evenly. The pistons are ceramic and the body is CNC-machined in one piece from high-strength aluminum alloy. Runs on mineral oil and takes 140 / 160 / 180 / 203 mm rotors from 1.8 to 2.2 mm thick.

CNC-machined in one piece from high-strength aluminum alloy, with the hose leaving the end of the lever body for a clean cockpit. Clamps to standard 22.2 mm MTB bars.

Check your frame and fork before ordering — this set is for Post Mount (direct-mount) MTB brake tabs.

✓ Post Mount frames and forks

The standard on mountain bikes. The caliper bolts to Post Mount tabs with the four supplied bolts; use the adapter that matches your rotor size and fork or frame.

✕ Flat Mount frames

Common on road and gravel frames. This caliper does not fit Flat Mount tabs.

WHEELTOP MA2000 front and rear brakes with hoses

The front and rear hoses come attached to the calipers; the lever end is cut to suit your bike and connected with the supplied olives and insert pins.

Post Mount only

For Post Mount MTB frames and forks. It does not fit Flat Mount road or gravel frames.

Rotors and adapters not included

Use rotors of 140–203 mm and 1.8–2.2 mm thickness, and the Post Mount adapter that matches your rotor size.

Installation

The hoses need cutting to length and connecting to the levers, and the system should then be bled with mineral oil. We recommend having it fitted at a bike shop if you have not worked on hydraulic brakes before.

Warranty

1-year warranty. Brake pads are a wear item and not covered. Check pad wear regularly, and check for low fluid or air in the line.
