BR-MA3000 Caliper — 4-Piston, Dual-Side Braking

CNC-machined from a single billet of 6061 aluminum alloy, the BR-MA3000 caliper drives four opposed pistons — two per side — for strong, even clamping force. Integrated cooling fins pull heat away from the pads on long descents, keeping braking consistent instead of fading. Runs on mineral oil and is compatible with 140/160/180/203mm rotors from 1.8mm to 2.2mm thick.

Tested to 120°C / -20°C, 100,000 Cycles

Each caliper passes fatigue testing across temperature extremes and 100,000 braking cycles before it ships — built to hold up through summer heat and winter cold alike.

BL-MA3000 Lever — Left/Right Interchangeable

A vertical reservoir design routes the hose internally for a clean cockpit and compact footprint on the bar. The 2-finger lever body and bearing-connected pivot give a smooth, consistent pull. Both levers in the set are identical — mount either one on the left or right, whichever suits your setup.

WHEELTOP BL-MA3000 brake lever swivel hose joint detail

Swivel Joint — Not a Loose Screw

The hose connects to the lever through a rotating swivel joint, letting you fine-tune the hose routing angle to match your frame and hand position. If it feels like it can turn, that's the design working as intended — do not try to tighten it with a screwdriver. Forcing it can damage the joint and is not covered under warranty.

This caliper is designed for direct-mount (Post Mount) mountain bike frames and forks. It does not fit Flat Mount road/gravel frames — confirm your mount type before ordering.

Ships as Separate Components

The brake lever and hose ship unassembled from the caliper. Routing the hose and connecting the fitting is a specialized process — we recommend having it installed and bled by a professional bike shop.

Brake Pads Are a Wear Item

This brake set carries a 1-year warranty; brake pads are a consumable wear part and are not covered. Check pad wear regularly, and check for low fluid or air in the line — top up mineral oil as needed.

Professional Installation Recommended

Hydraulic brake installation involves hose routing, fitting assembly, and bleeding — we recommend having it fitted at a bike shop rather than DIY if you're not experienced with hydraulic systems.
