Wheeltop EDS TT Wireless Groupset: The Ultimate Game Changer for Triathlon & TT Bikes?

Hey everyone, it's Henry here! I am beyond excited today because I’ve finally laid my hands on the brand-new Wheeltop EDS TT Wireless Groupset. If you’ve followed my channel, you know I’ve been a fan of Wheeltop’s road and gravel setups, but they’ve finally rounded out their lineup for Triathletes and TT riders, taking on the big players like Shimano and SRAM.
Unboxing this thing feels premium. You get the blip shifters, brake levers, derailleurs, and a full hydraulic disc brake system. A huge win for me is that the blip shifters use replaceable CR2032 coin cell batteries—good for about 20,000 shifts! No more proprietary charging headaches for the shifters.
Since it’s wireless, the derailleur installation is a breeze. I’ll admit, routing the hydraulic hoses through the frame was a bit of a puzzle (I actually had to use dental floss to help guide the cables!), but once they were in, the app-based setup was seamless. You can set it from 7 to 13 speeds and fine-tune every single gear. I did notice a tiny delay on the brake lever buttons compared to the blips, but the ergonomics are spot on. I’ve been testing it on the indoor trainer, and I can't wait to take this to a real race once the snow clears!
