A fully wireless electronic shifting kit engineered specifically for folding bikes and compact flat-bar builds. The EDS TXF pairs the proven TX electronic rear derailleur with the same button-style wireless shifter used in the OX MTB groupset. No cables, no housing, no barrel adjusters. 1X single chainring configuration only. Compatible with 7–14 speed cassettes, fully configurable through the WHEELTOP app via BLE/ANT+. Available in two rear derailleur cage options — the Standard Alloy Short Cage (58mm, max 32T, built for tight folding-frame clearance on any wheel size) and the Carbon Ceramic OSPW long cage (max 36T, ceramic bearing oversized pulley wheels, 20″ wheels or larger only).

Carbon Ceramic OSPW
Carbon fiber long cage upgraded with ceramic bearing oversized pulley wheels (OSPW) for measurably lower drivetrain friction. Requires 20″ wheels or larger — the longer cage needs more ground clearance than sub-20″ folding platforms can provide.
Why Oversized? The Chain Wrap Angle Difference.
At 12 teeth, the oversized pulleys are physically larger than a conventional jockey wheel — letting the chain bend through a gentler arc at each engagement. Less arc per revolution means less per-link articulation friction across every pedal stroke. Swapping in ceramic bearings cuts rolling resistance further versus standard steel bearings, keeping the drivetrain quieter and more responsive under load.

The battery compartment cover sits on the back of the shifter body. To swap a cell, simply take a fresh CR2032, press it flat against the cover, and rotate — the cap threads off cleanly with nothing but finger pressure. No screwdriver, no coin, no dedicated tool. Drop in the new cell, twist the cover back on, and the shifter responds immediately. Standard CR2032 cells are available at any supermarket, gas station, or electronics shop worldwide.
The New Battery Is the Only Tool You Need.

1X Single Chainring Only
The TXF kit does not include a front derailleur and is not designed for 2X double-chainring setups. For 2X, see the TXR listing.
Carbon Ceramic OSPW — 20″ Wheels or Larger Only
The long-cage OSPW variant needs more ground clearance than sub-20″ folding platforms provide, risking pedal-strike or chain-to-frame contact. If your folding bike runs wheels smaller than 20 inches, choose the Standard Alloy Short Cage instead.
Flat Bar / Button Shifter Mount
The included button-style shifter is designed for flat bars. It is not compatible with drop bar STI-style lever positions.
Requires Standard Derailleur Hanger
Compatible with standard replaceable derailleur hangers. Confirm your folding bike uses a standard hanger before ordering.
